Citizen Development to Drive Digital Innovation
Citizen development enables non-IT employees to build digital solutions, shifting digital
innovation beyond traditional IT departments to business units and employees. Despite
its growing relevance, research lacks a unified conceptualization, clarity on motivations,
and insights into its impact on organizational innovation processes.
